Frequently Asked Questions
The Secret Message Lock tool allows you to encrypt any text with a password. Here is how to use it:
- Type or paste your message in the text area
- Enter a strong password (share this with your recipient separately)
- Click the "Encrypt" button
- Copy the encrypted message and share it
- Your recipient needs to paste the encrypted text and enter the same password to decrypt
Note: We never store your messages or passwords. All encryption happens in your browser.
VPN leaks can happen for several reasons. Common causes include:
- DNS leaks: Your DNS requests bypass the VPN tunnel
- WebRTC leaks: Your browser exposes your real IP through WebRTC
- IPv6 leaks: Your VPN only protects IPv4 but your device uses IPv6
- Kill switch not enabled: Your VPN disconnects but traffic continues
Solutions: Use our IP Leak Test tool to identify the leak type. Enable your VPN's DNS leak protection, disable WebRTC in your browser settings, or disable IPv6 on your device.
Creating a self-destructing message is simple:
- Go to the One Time Message or Self Destroy Text tool
- Write your message content
- Set an expiration time (1 minute, 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days)
- Click "Create Link" or "Generate"
- Copy the unique link and share it with your recipient
- Once viewed or expired, the message is permanently deleted
Important: Save the link before closing the page. We cannot recover self-destructed messages.
If a tool is not working properly, try these steps:
- Refresh the page and try again
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Disable browser extensions that might interfere (ad blockers, privacy extensions)
- Try using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Check if JavaScript is enabled in your browser
- Try incognito/private browsing mode
If the issue persists, please contact our support team with details about the tool and your browser version.
Use our Password Leak Tester tool:
- Go to the Password Leak Tester tool
- Enter your password (it stays in your browser - we never see it)
- Click "Check Leak"
- The tool will securely check if your password appears in known data breaches
If your password is leaked: Immediately change it on all accounts where you used it. Use our Strong Password Maker to create a new, unique password. Enable two-factor authentication on important accounts.
Yes, absolutely. Here is why:
- Client-side encryption: Your data is encrypted in your browser before it ever leaves your device
- Zero-knowledge architecture: We never see your unencrypted data or your passwords
- No storage: We do not have a database of your notes or messages
- AES-256 encryption: Military-grade encryption standard used by governments worldwide
- Self-destruct options: Messages can be set to automatically delete after viewing
Without your password, nobody — including us — can read your encrypted notes.

Quick Guides
Use our Strong Password Maker tool:
- Select password length (recommended: 16-20 characters)
- Choose character types: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols
- Click "Generate Password"
- Copy and save the password in a password manager
Tip: Never reuse passwords across different websites. Each account needs a unique password.
To encode: Type or paste your text in the input box, click "Encode", copy the result.
To decode: Paste the Base64 string in the input box, click "Decode", copy the decoded text.
Base64 is commonly used for sending binary data over text-based protocols like email or JSON.
Use our IP Show tool. Simply open the tool and your public IP address, location, and ISP will be displayed instantly. No configuration needed. This is useful for:
- Verifying your VPN is working (compare IP with and without VPN)
- Checking if your IP is blacklisted
- Finding your approximate location
- Troubleshooting network issues
