How do I use the Secret Message Lock tool?

The Secret Message Lock tool allows you to encrypt any text with a password. Here is how to use it:

  1. Type or paste your message in the text area
  2. Enter a strong password (share this with your recipient separately)
  3. Click the "Encrypt" button
  4. Copy the encrypted message and share it
  5. Your recipient needs to paste the encrypted text and enter the same password to decrypt

Note: We never store your messages or passwords. All encryption happens in your browser.

Why is my VPN leaking my IP address?

VPN leaks can happen for several reasons. Common causes include:

  • DNS leaks: Your DNS requests bypass the VPN tunnel
  • WebRTC leaks: Your browser exposes your real IP through WebRTC
  • IPv6 leaks: Your VPN only protects IPv4 but your device uses IPv6
  • Kill switch not enabled: Your VPN disconnects but traffic continues

Solutions: Use our IP Leak Test tool to identify the leak type. Enable your VPN's DNS leak protection, disable WebRTC in your browser settings, or disable IPv6 on your device.

How do I create a self-destructing message?

Creating a self-destructing message is simple:

  1. Go to the One Time Message or Self Destroy Text tool
  2. Write your message content
  3. Set an expiration time (1 minute, 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days)
  4. Click "Create Link" or "Generate"
  5. Copy the unique link and share it with your recipient
  6. Once viewed or expired, the message is permanently deleted

Important: Save the link before closing the page. We cannot recover self-destructed messages.

What should I do if a tool is not working?

If a tool is not working properly, try these steps:

  1. Refresh the page and try again
  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  3. Disable browser extensions that might interfere (ad blockers, privacy extensions)
  4. Try using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
